For duration-based work, prepay the quoted ceiling, constrain execution, and reconcile the measured units. Unused balance returns through a separate Hedera refund, not native upto settlement.

The receipt connects payment, usage, and refund status. Private credentials authorize results. Never treat a publicly visible transaction as a bearer secret.
